It’s not easy to walk into a new office and speak to a complete stranger about your personal concerns and struggles. I feel that therapy is first about creating a genuine and trusting relationship and then working toward goals that will bring relief and balance to my client's life.

My style is friendly, non-judgmental, caring, and straightforward.  Our sessions will be interactive, with me asking questions, listening to your responses, and providing insight, support and constructive feedback. I believe in creating a safe and comfortable environment to process the concerns that bring my clients to therapy. Whether you are searching for support through a difficult experience, or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I will work with your to achieve your goals.

In addition to working with adults, I enjoy and have considerable experience working with adolescents. Adolescents occasionally have a difficult time expressing their emotions and making sense of the stress that accompanies being a teen. It’s important for them to have a safe place where they can be heard, feel accepted and receive support for the challenges they are facing. I also make it a priority to establish supportive and collaborative relationships with the important adults in their lives in order to make meaningful changes that extend beyond the therapy office.
